The Friends of Fisher Farm invite you to come meet the "girls" at Sub Edge Farm. Participants will spend the morning meeting the Sub Edge Farm laying hen flock, learning about chickens and gathering eggs. Then everyone will head back to the Farm Store to cook up an egg-stra delicious lunch with Chef Kelley Lanahan! Participants should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work, wear close-toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals please) and come lathered up with sunscreen, insect repellent and plenty of water. Getting dirty is expected - and the best part of the day! Classes run rain or shine!
